Authorities now have a face for the person who shot and robbed Atlanta rapper Waka Flocka last January.
The culprit, previously unknown by police, took to the internet today via KarenCivil.com to flaunt the chain previously worn around Flocka’s neck. The Gucci Mane protege has been recovering from the gunshot wounds that he sustained last month during the robbery which took place at a car wash in College Park, Ga.
Flocka recently detailed the robbery in an interview with MTV, where he said a man ran up to the car and stuck what looked like a Glock 19 handgun in his face.
“I [was] like, ‘Good night.’ I ain’t know what to do,” he recalled. “At first I thought it was a joke — I thought it was one of my friends playing, like, ‘Boy, you slippin’.’ Then [the gunman] said, ‘Boy, you already know what it is. You slipped.’ I was like, damn!”
Flocka handed over all of his jewelry without struggle, but the robber let his guard down and allowed Flocka to get out of the car, pretending to have trouble with his Breitling watch. Flocka hung the watch on his fingertip and when the gunman reached for it, Flocka reached for the gun. As he leapt forward, the man shot him. The bullet hit Flocka’s right arm and traveled into his torso.
