Waka Flocka Speaks About Raid On His Home….

During an interview with Hot 93.7 radio station in Hartford, Connecticut, Waka, who was not home while the raid ensued, described how he learned his residency had been invaded..

“I had to go to court for a little traffic ticket for driving too fast. I was coming out the court, I had to use the bathroom. So my road manager G-Boy, he’s like, ‘Ay, man, police just raided the house.’ I’m like, ‘What? What they want? They want to find some CDs? What they comin’ in there for?’ ” he said.

Waka denied he was involved in any negative activities as accused, with no intention of living a double life.

“Why would I rap and go try to street gang bang? That’s hustling backwards. Why would I wanna rap all around the world and then go hit the streets and gang bang? I’m a rapper, I’m not a [gang-banger.] How can you gang bang and be a rapper? I don’t understand that,” he said. “I would love to find out where their information is coming from. I can’t wait.”

It was reported that one of Waka’s associates was responsible for being a police informant, resulting in the raid, which Waka also denies.

“That ain’t true. Hey, this is the internet. I don’t know what’s going on, I didn’t even see [the video], keep it gangsta,” Waka said.

Waka once again stressed it was nonsensical to put his current success in jeopardy by involving himself in street life.

“I’m good. I dropped the album, Flockaveli, doing numbers. ‘No Hands,’ I think it’s platinum or it’s on the road to be. I’m in the top three albums of the year, ’cause I don’t know nobody selling past me and Gucci and probably Wayne or Nicki and West or somebody or Ross. Other than that, these folks is losing out here,” he said. “I’m good, I got shows every week. I’m straight. Team good, I’m eatin’. New label, Brick Squad Monopoly, Gucc about to drop two mixtapes, I just executive produced one of them. I’m going in, man.”

Lil Wayne’s ‘6’7″ ‘ Originally For T.I., Bangladesh Says….

From chart-topping records to serving time behind bars, Lil Wayne and T.I. have a lot in common. In fact, they were both set to lavish lyrics on what eventually became Weezy’s latest joint, “6’7″.”

Producer Bangladesh, who supplied the rumbling, insistent beat for Weezy’s beastly 2008 banger “A Milli,” recently revealed that Wayne’s lead lyrical K.O. from Tha Carter IV was originally sent to Tip’s camp.

“Due to the situation and the circumstances of the Cash Money situation, I really wasn’t thinking about Wayne at that moment when I made it,” he told BET.com about sidestepping Weezy’s label due to static that cropped up when Bangladesh claimed Cash Money owed him some, well, cash money. “I just knew that the beat was a big track and I couldn’t at the time think of nobody that could swag this out like that or was worthy enough of this beat really.

“I was actually sending the beat to Gee [Roberson, Atlantic Records executive] for T.I.,” he added. “I mean, not that I think T.I. would sound good on the beat, they were just looking for a single and somebody said, ‘Man, send that to Gee; T.I. need something.’ ”

Even though the producer sent over the track, he knew that Tip wasn’t likely to latch on to the record. Instead, Roberson, who co-manages Weezy, insisted the beat was Carter IV material.

“I already dealt with T.I., I know how T.I. is. I knew he wouldn’t really be rocking this beat right there, so I sent it anyway,” he added. “And Gee just hit back talking about Wayne: ‘Man, Wayne’ll kill this, Wayne’ll kill this,’ so I had to really see if I wanted to do it or not, but they’ve been communicating, they’ve been reaching out.” Continue reading ‘Lil Wayne’s ‘6’7″ ‘ Originally For T.I., Bangladesh Says….’

Man Who Shot & Robbed Waka Flocka Flaunts Chain Online!!!!!

Authorities now have a face for the person who shot and robbed Atlanta rapper Waka Flocka last January.

The culprit, previously unknown by police, took to the internet today via KarenCivil.com to flaunt the chain previously worn around Flocka’s neck. The Gucci Mane protege has been recovering from the gunshot wounds that he sustained last month during the robbery which took place at a car wash in College Park, Ga.

Flocka recently detailed the robbery in an interview with MTV, where he said a man ran up to the car and stuck what looked like a Glock 19 handgun in his face.

“I [was] like, ‘Good night.’ I ain’t know what to do,” he recalled. “At first I thought it was a joke — I thought it was one of my friends playing, like, ‘Boy, you slippin’.’ Then [the gunman] said, ‘Boy, you already know what it is. You slipped.’ I was like, damn!”

Flocka handed over all of his jewelry without struggle, but the robber let his guard down and allowed Flocka to get out of the car, pretending to have trouble with his Breitling watch. Flocka hung the watch on his fingertip and when the gunman reached for it, Flocka reached for the gun. As he leapt forward, the man shot him. The bullet hit Flocka’s right arm and traveled into his torso.
